Our Beliefs

What Disciples Believe:

Open Communion: The Lord's Supper is celebrated weekly and is open to all who believe in Jesus Christ.  

The Openess of the Church:  All Christians are called to be one in Christ and to seek opportunities for common witness and service.

Freedom of Belief:  We are called together in a belief in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and that Christians are free to follow their conscience guided by Bible study, the Holy Spirit, and prayer to extend that freedom to others.

Baptism by Immersion: In baptism, the old self-centered life is set aside, washed away and a new life of trust in God begins.

The Ministry of Believers:  Ministers and members lead in worship, service, and spiritual growth.

We are Ecumenical in nature: This means we cooperate with other churches to further God's Kingdom. We beleive that all churches are in the same "business"; and therfore work together.

And above all: that, Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God who offers saving grace to all who seek it through God's Son.
